the first sketch

There is a large, blank canvas staring at me on my living room wall.

I used to paint with acrylics.

I used to be pretty darn good.

Used to.

It has been a while.

But the brushes have been dusted off.

I can feel inspiration all around me.

That canvas isn't going to be blank much longer.
